Great round - Lee M. - 09/02/2013 22:43:16
I have been loading these for competition use for a couple years, very little difference in felt recoil between these and the 155-165 grain rounds. Lots of impact on reactive steel. The nose contour is almost perfect making a misfeed impossible. I can say that with confidence because of the several thousand that refuse to jam despite what COAL I use. And if you think about it- makes a nice personal defense round. Figured if I shoot these in practice and competition I should carry them too. 180 grains of lead with a 15+ capacity is a lot of power in the hand in relation to a 200 grain .45 cal with only 10 in the mag. Humble opinion only. You will not be sorry you tried these bullets. PS - they work great in Glocks too, no matter what they say about lead rounds through an octagonal rifled barrel.
